Responsibilities:

• Build new services to meet critical product and business needs using Node.JS.
• Design scalable systems with modern cloud technology and best practices.
• Articulate a long-term vision for maintaining and scaling backend systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the product roadmap.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs.

Who You Are:

• Minimum 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficient in designing, building, and maintaining production services with a service-oriented architecture.
• Strong coding skills with a passion for an open financial system.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience in rapid company growth (startup to mid-size).
• Familiarity with growth experiments and A/B testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of Blockchain technology (Solana, Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.).
• Experience in decomposing monoliths into microservices.
• Familiarity with AWS, Web3.js, NodeJS, Postgres, MongoDB.
• Experience in building financial, high reliability, or security systems.

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. The base salary range for this role is $120K to $210K. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Players Clubs’ equity plan. The final offer amount will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by multiple factors, including years and depth of experience and expertise, location, and other business considerations.
