On Change.org, people everywhere are starting campaigns, mobilizing supporters, and working with decision makers to drive solutions.
Our internal hiring system is designed to work with efficiency, engage transparently with our team and candidates, and help us scale with intention. Those actions, in turn, will help further our mission and keep Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at the forefront of our operations.
The team here reviews the background of all candidates who apply, are referred or who we find via sourcing. We understand that a resume is not the end all be all! We prioritize candidates who have demonstrated the skills and abilities that align with the skills we need for our open roles.
All the interviews we conduct-from initial screens to onsites-are structured. This means that we outlined our areas of evaluation and questions in advance to ensure each candidate is measured in an equitable manner. You’ll find that our interviews tend to be pretty in-depth and thorough. We are looking for candidates who are thoughtful, clear and direct with their answers and who can demonstrate an understanding of our mission and our product as well as having the core capabilities needed for success in the role.
You can (and should) read more about our compensation philosophy below. In addition to how we handle compensation, we’ll also make it a point to share feedback at the time of our offer and make sure your questions are answered. We want to ensure you like us as much as we like you!
