Senior Delivery Lead - DACH

About the Role

The Delivery Lead ensures Camunda Professional Services (PS) implementation engagements are delivered predictably by turning customer outcomes into a realistic delivery plan and steering execution with technical credibility. You will drive scope decomposition, planning, and forecasting, manage change and trade-offs, and keep delivery on track across Camunda, customer, and partner teams.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead End-to-End Delivery: Manage customer implementation engagements, translating outcomes into a delivery plan (scope, milestones, dependencies, budget) and driving execution.
• Align Teams: Keep the implementation team (Camunda, customer, partners) aligned on goals, outcomes, ways of working, and budget.
• Manage Scope & Change: Drive scope decomposition, estimation, and change control; make trade-offs explicit (scope/time/quality) and protect delivery commitments.
• Stakeholder Communication: Own communication, providing clear, evidence-based status updates, aligning expectations, and driving timely decisions.
• Mitigate Risks: Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks and remove blockers with technical credibility.
• Continuous Improvement: Capture learnings from engagements to iterate on Camunda’s Professional Service delivery excellence framework.

What You Bring

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in a (Technical) Delivery Lead or Project Management role within the Enterprise Software or SaaS industry.
• Customer Success: Proven track record leading agile, customer-facing PS implementation engagements, aligning multi-party teams, and ensuring predictable, high-quality releases.
• Communication: Advanced communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly and persuasively, combined with empathy in customer interactions.
• Problem-Solving: Strong aptitude for strategic thinking and innovative problem-solving.
• Business Acumen: Passion for solving customer challenges and understanding how PS engagements in an ARR-driven enterprise software business improve retention and enable expansion.
• Language: German language skills at a C1/C2 level.
• Product Aptitude: Ability and willingness to use Camunda's product.

• Familiarity with software engineering, process orchestration, and automation.
