Senior Solutions Architect - EMEA / DACH (German Speaking)

About the Role

As a Senior Solutions Architect on the Professional Services team within Customer Success, you will work in direct partnership with our customers to lead technical implementations and empower them to build secure software. In this role, you will be the primary technical interface for end users while collaborating closely with Chainguard’s product and engineering teams to shape solutions.

What You'll Do

• Lead technical implementations and drive customer adoption of Chainguard images across enterprise environments.
• Partner with account teams (AEs, SEs, CSMs, and Support) to drive account strategies, value realization, and long-term retention/growth.
• Act as "customer zero" by testing, documenting, and providing feedback to ensure high-quality image builds and smooth onboarding.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to advocate for customer requirements and prioritize feature roadmaps.
• Maintain account-level architecture documentation and share best practices across the organization.
• Travel up to 15% of the time for customer meetings and team offsites.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 8+ years of experience developing high-performance multi-tier applications.
• Technical Expertise: Strong background in Kubernetes and container environments.
• Languages: Native or professional fluency in German is required.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and executive audiences.
• Software Engineering Standards: Deep understanding of modern software development practices and design concepts.
