Senior Solutions Engineer - Chromatic

Chromatic is looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in the success of our highest priority customers and driving the growth of our company. As a key technical partner, you'll serve as the primary technical contact for Enterprise accounts, helping them integrate and maximize value from Chromatic and Storybook. You’ll support customers through thoughtful onboarding, comprehensive training, and ongoing education, ensuring they are set up for long-term success.

This is a fully remote position, prioritizing candidates located in EMEA, alongside candidates based in the Eastern Time Zone within the US or Canada.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to Enterprise customers, providing guidance on using Chromatic’s core features and integrating them into existing workflows.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships while troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Implement and maintain technical integrations for Enterprise accounts (e.g., SSO setups) and make updates to support customer onboarding.
• Help customers adopt and scale Storybook usage across large organizations, partnering closely with our Developer Experience team.
• Partner with Customer Success Managers to ensure positive implementation experiences, joining quarterly business reviews and key account calls.
• Identify expansion opportunities within the existing customer base in collaboration with Sales and Customer Success.
• Improve internal workflows to streamline processes and enhance the customer experience.
• Act as the voice of the customer internally by providing feedback to product and engineering teams.

Requirements

• 4+ years in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Solutions Engineer, Professional Services Engineer), ideally in B2B SaaS or developer tools.
• Strong background in the frontend space with familiarity in modern JavaScript tools and frameworks (e.g., Webpack, React); Storybook and/or Chromatic experience is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex technical concepts clearly.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build genuine relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Highly organized, dependable, and self-motivated with strong time management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
