- Technical Accounting: Author position memos on contract modifications, variable consideration, and capitalized contract costs.
- Equity & Compliance: Own ASC 718 equity compensation accounting and build a control framework suitable for a global, remote-first company.
- Systems & Automation: Manage the accounting systems roadmap (NetSuite, Stripe/Metronome, Ramp, Avalara, FloQast) and drive automation.
- Team Leadership: Manage and scale a team of ~7, fostering trust and professional development.
- Treasury & Audit: Oversee cash management, FX exposure, and external audit/tax relationships.
What we're looking for
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including team leadership.
- Big 4 or top-tier public accounting foundation.
- Deep US GAAP mastery, specifically subscription/usage-based revenue recognition (ASC 606).
- Proven track record of implementing accounting automation or AI with measurable results.
