What is The Role

Elastic is looking for an exceptional delivery consulting leader — someone who has built and run international delivery organisations, understands how to drive bookings growth and revenue expansion inside complex enterprise accounts, and can operate at the highest levels of client engagement while simultaneously leading and transforming a mid-sized, globally distributed team.

You will own the international Delivery Management function across Elastic Professional Services — leading the team, driving the transformation, and acting as the senior client presence on our most strategic engagements. You will be accountable for both the operational health of the delivery organisation and the commercial outcomes it generates: bookings, revenue, and margin across EMEA and APJ.

What You Will Be Doing

International Delivery Organisation — EMEA & APJ

• Own and lead the international Delivery Management function: Manage a team of ~15 Delivery Managers distributed across global delivery hubs in EMEA and APJ, scaling substantially through 2027 and 2028.
• Drive a team transformation: Shift Delivery Managers from project execution to outcome-led consulting, equipping the team to hold strategic client conversations and drive account value.
• Champion Fixed Price engagement models: Lead the organisation through commercial, contractual, and delivery discipline required to scope, price, and execute fixed-price engagements (especially platform migrations).
• Build a dual-mode delivery capability across two distinct motions:
  1. Packaged Solutions: Fast, repeatable, industrialised delivery anchored in Fixed Price models.
  2. Transformative Engagements: Large, complex migrations and solution delivery requiring senior governance and adaptive leadership.
• Lead the integration of AI: Identify and embed AI-powered tools and practices that improve team productivity, delivery insight, and client experience.
• Design and embed delivery standards: Establish frameworks, tooling, and AI-augmented capabilities that allow scaling without sacrificing quality.
• Act as a player-coach: Maintain direct governance oversight on complex or at-risk international engagements.
• Build a coaching culture: Raise delivery craft and consulting commerciality across every region in close partnership with Regional Services Directors.

Financial Leadership & Commercial Growth

• Own financial accountability: Drive consulting bookings growth, maximize revenue realization, and improve delivery margin through disciplined engagement management and commercial rigour.
• Grow the consulting footprint: Expand within strategic enterprise accounts across EMEA and APJ, driving land-and-expand outcomes with regional Sales teams.
• Sustain C-level & VP-level relationships: Become a trusted advisor for strategic decisions beyond individual projects.
• Develop value narratives: Articulate the value of Elastic consulting services to influence renewals and new commercial commitments.
• Partner on pipeline development: Serve as a senior delivery voice in pre-sales conversations, solution framing, and Fixed Price proposal structuring.

Cross-Functional & Organisational Impact

• Serve as the connective tissue between Consulting, Sales, Customer Success, and Product.
• Contribute to Elastic's delivery consulting GTM: methodology design, packaged solution development, delivery model innovation, and AI tooling.
• Represent Elastic Professional Services at the senior leadership level internally and externally.

What You Bring

• 12+ years in management consulting, professional services, or enterprise SaaS delivery leadership — with background in client-facing growth and team leadership.
• International enterprise leadership: Proven track record building and leading delivery teams across EMEA and/or APJ.
• Fixed Price expertise: Hands-on experience designing, selling, and delivering Fixed Price consulting engagements at scale.
• Financial accountability: Proven success owning a P&L or delivery portfolio with direct accountability for bookings, revenue, and margin.
• Dual-mode delivery experience: Track record running high-velocity repeatable engagements alongside complex enterprise transformations.
• AI fluency: Clear perspective and practical experience applying AI tools to improve delivery effectiveness and customer outcomes.
• Commercial acumen: Demonstrated success expanding enterprise accounts and shaping SOWs from within a delivery function.
• Executive presence: Credible at the C-suite level across multiple geographies.
• People leadership at scale: Experience transforming mid-to-large delivery teams across distributed, multi-timezone environments.

• Experience industrialising packaged service offerings from complex bespoke engagements.
• Hands-on experience deploying AI tools within professional services or consulting.
• Background spanning full lifecycle: pre-sales/solutioning and post-sales delivery.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms (e.g., Elastic, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Databricks).
• Agile and hybrid delivery framework fluency with platform migrations / tools consolidation.
• Certifications such as PMP, CSM, or equivalent.
