Public Sector Account Executive (Education) - Elastic

About the Role

Elastic is seeking a dynamic Public Sector Account Executive to evangelize and expand our footprint within the education sector. You will own the full sales cycle—from cold outreach to close—focused on acquiring new logos and deepening engagement with existing customers by solving complex data challenges using our Search AI platform.

What You Will Be Doing

• Drive Adoption: Fuel the adoption of Elastic’s AI-powered search, Observability, and Security solutions.
• Trusted Advisor: Help customers harness search analytics to transform data into actionable insights.
• Strategic Planning: Develop business plans leveraging community and partner ecosystems to drive territory growth.
• Sales Execution: Manage complex sales cycles using frameworks like MEDDPICC to identify pain, business impact, and decision criteria.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, Marketing, and RevOps to accelerate deals.
• Technical Fluency: Speak fluently about cloud economics, usage-based pricing, and modern data architectures.
