Reporting & Data Analyst (6-Month FTC) - Form3

The Role

Form3 is seeking a Reporting & Data Analyst for a six-month fixed-term contract to enhance the organisation's reporting capabilities. This role focuses on developing a reliable, scalable, and accessible reporting suite, with two main priorities: completing and enhancing the Customer Service reporting suite in AWS QuickSight, and building trusted, reusable datasets for self-service reporting.

You will collaborate across the business to improve data quality, reduce manual reporting, and establish robust documentation, governance, and knowledge transfer for future sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Complete and enhance the Customer Service reporting suite and reporting deck in AWS QuickSight.
• Design, build, and document reusable datasets for multiple reporting use cases.
• Integrate key business systems into curated reporting datasets.
• Translate stakeholder questions into clear data and dashboard requirements.
• Establish consistent business metrics, definitions, and reporting logic.
• Automate manual reporting and duplicated data preparation where possible.
• Validate reporting outputs and investigate data-quality issues.
• Provide knowledge transfer to internal teams and support a longer-term reporting roadmap.

Requirements

Essential

• Experience in a Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining dashboards using AWS QuickSight or a comparable BI platform.
• Practical experience using SQL and Python for reporting, data transformation, or analysis.
• Experience working with multiple data sources and translating stakeholder requirements into accurate, maintainable reporting.
• A self-sufficient and pragmatic approach, with the ability to take ownership and deliver within a focused six-month engagement.

Desirable

• Experience using Amazon Athena or a similar cloud-based data querying service.
• Experience creating curated datasets for self-service reporting.
• Experience improving data quality, reporting governance, and technical documentation.
• Experience working in a start-up, scale-up, or small team where you have had broad ownership.

Tech Stack

• AWS QuickSight: Building dashboards, reporting suites, and reusable datasets.
• SQL: Querying, transforming, and validating reporting data.
• Python: Supporting data transformation, automation, and reporting workflows.
• Business and operational systems: Integrating data sources into trusted reporting datasets.

Interview Process

• Stage 1: Screening Call with Talent Team.
• Stage 2: Practical Technical Task.
• Stage 3: Interview with the Hiring Manager, including a discussion of your technical task and your approach to reporting, data quality, stakeholder requirements, and self-service analytics.

While the aim is to stick to this process, an additional interview stage may be included if needed.

Hiring Locations

This position is open to candidates based in the United Kingdom.

All new joiners are required to start their first day in the office to collect equipment and meet some team members, ensuring a supported and positive onboarding experience.
