Full Stack Engineer - FuturHealth

The Mission

Money is where patient care gets complicated. A titration upgrade, a renewal, a plan change — every one of them has to resolve into the right charge, the right credit, the right event, every time, or a patient's medication doesn't ship. Your mission is to own that correctness end to end: from the payments service and subscription/renewal logic through the checkout and account screens patients actually see.

What You'll Actually Do

• Own the Money Logic: Build and maintain the subscription, renewal, and credit-ledger machinery in our payments service.
• Close the Loop to the Patient: Take ownership from the API through the checkout and account UI — multi-offer screens, credit displays, payment steps.
• Guard the Signal: Treat event correctness and webhook reliability as core to the job, ensuring every transaction emits the right payment event.
• Test Like It's Load-Bearing: Build automated coverage as you go for complex payment edge cases (partial credits, multi-cycle renewals, plan changes).
• Work the Seam with Medical: Partner directly with the Medical team where payments and medical engineering share surface area (titration, refills, plan changes).

• A True Full-Stack Engineer: Equally comfortable in a Go service and a React/React Native screen.
• Testing-Minded by Instinct: Write tests alongside the code because you don't trust yourself not to.
• Comfortable with Financial Correctness: Sweat the edge cases others skip when money and medication are both on the line.
• A Proactive Owner: Navigate ambiguity, dig into root causes, and propose paths forward.
• A Generalist by Choice: Prefer picking up whatever the problem needs over staying in one lane.
• Fluent with Modern Tools: Use AI-assisted engineering tools to move faster without cutting corners.
