Senior Solutions Architect - GitLab

About the Role

As a Senior Solutions Architect on GitLab's South Korea team, you will serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise prospects, customers, and partners. You will demonstrate how GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform addresses complex technical requirements and business objectives across the software development lifecycle. Experience working with large conglomerates (Chaebols) is highly valued.

What You’ll Do

• Technical Leadership: Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, and validation to show how GitLab meets customer needs.
• Evaluation Ownership: Manage the technical evaluation process, including solution design, proofs of concept (POC), proofs of value (POV), workshops, and technical components of tenders.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with Account Executives to shape account strategies for enterprise acquisition and expansion.
• Partner Enablement: Support and enable regional go-to-market partners to ensure consistent technical delivery and best practices.
• Advocacy & Representation: Represent GitLab at industry events, webinars, and hackathons. Act as the voice of the customer to Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
• Consultative Advising: Guide customers through digital transformation, advising on modern software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud practices.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: Proven track record in technical presales, consulting, or similar enterprise-facing roles.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, DevSecOps, CI/CD workflows, and cloud computing concepts.
• Communication: Exceptional presentation and relationship-building skills; ability to adapt technical messaging for both practitioners and senior decision-makers.
• Language: Fluency in both Korean and English.
• Growth Mindset: Motivation to continuously learn new technologies and deepen expertise in the GitLab platform.
