Senior Solutions Architect (Singapore) - GitLab

About the Role

As a Senior Solutions Architect based in Singapore, you will serve as a trusted advisor to prospects, customers, and partners across the Asia region. You will help organizations understand how GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform addresses their technical requirements and business objectives throughout the software development lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Technical Leadership: Lead technical discovery, demos, and validation to demonstrate the value of the GitLab platform.
• Evaluation Ownership: Drive the technical evaluation process, including solution design, proof of value (POV), workshop design, and technical components of tenders and audits.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to shape account strategies and drive revenue growth.
• Customer Advocacy: Build deep relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders, serving as the voice of the customer back to Product Management and Engineering.
• Advisory: Guide customers on modern software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud practices.
• Knowledge Sharing: Maintain expertise in AI and DevSecOps by creating reusable technical collateral and best-practice guidance.

What You'll Bring

• Experience: Proven track record in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of the end-to-end software development lifecycle, modern DevSecOps, CI/CD workflows, and Generative/Agentic AI.
• Platform Knowledge: Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control and CI/CD platforms.
• Cloud Expertise: Practical knowledge of cloud computing, deployment, and operations.
• Communication: Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to adapt technical messages for C-level executives and end-users.
• Language Skills: Fluent Mandarin is required for effective engagement with stakeholders in Singapore and Taiwan.
• Soft Skills: Ability to build trust, listen with empathy, and act as a customer advocate.
