The Team

Our Global Sourcing team is looking for an exceptional Sourcer to help build the future of global finance at Payward. This is a high-bar role requiring extreme ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate complex hiring challenges in a fully remote, high-agency, async-first environment where speed and quality are the standard.

• Subject Matter Expertise: We are building one interoperable stack connecting crypto, tokenized assets, and traditional markets. Looking for experts in fintech or deep thinkers who can bridge that gap quickly.
• Pace: Flex sourcing skills across Tech, Non-tech, and anything in between with a quick turnaround across different time zones and Payward businesses (including Kraken, NinjaTrader, and Reap).

The Opportunity

• Partner with Hiring Managers and Recruiters to design and execute effective hiring strategies.
• Gather, organize, and communicate competitive market intelligence, identifying target talent pools and industry trends.
• Collaborate with the broader sourcing team, leveraging best practices across research techniques, boolean searches, tools, networking, and other sourcing methods.
• Independently develop and maintain candidate flow across a variety of disciplines, leveraging data to drive decision-making and process improvement.
• Source candidates through a variety of search resources (social media, internal database, job boards, networking, internet searches, etc.).
• Serve as an ambassador for Kraken/Payward, sharing company values and driving brand awareness in the market.
• Participate in research projects and initiatives that improve hiring infrastructure.

What You Bring

• Exceptional track record sourcing talent for reputable, fast-growing, high-bar technology/product businesses against competitive markets. Bonus points for experience in crypto, fintech, or product-driven organizations.
• High craft: Ability to translate hiring needs into accurate sourcing strategies with strong expertise in boolean/X-ray sourcing.
• High motor and scrappiness — seeing opportunities where others see problems.
• Strong product sense.
• Sound appreciation for talent acquisition fundamentals, alongside creative and inquisitive exploration of modern tactics.
• High agency, strong bias for action, and confidence to push boundaries, influence stakeholders, and close exceptional talent.
• Comfort in chaos, thriving in ambiguity, owning outcomes, and moving with urgency in a fully async, remote-native setting.
• Ability to produce compelling market intelligence based on business and industry knowledge; fintech or crypto understanding required.
