Staff/Lead Fullstack Engineer (Frontend-focused) - Mimica

Your mission

You will join our Mapper Team, producing and servicing the Process Maps that are at the core of Mimica's product. You will take ownership of projects end-to-end, build new features, and make architectural decisions that enable exponential growth in usage.

What you will do

• Develop data-visualisation applications and new features displaying large data properties with scalability and reliability in mind.
• Build interfaces and real-time frontend services that enable multiple users to edit graph data and re-train AI models.
• Own projects end-to-end as part of small teams, collaborating with Tech Leads and Product Managers.
• Participate in architectural decisions and produce documentation for your implementations.
• Provide feedback to peers through RFCs, code reviews, and mentoring.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding new team members.

Who you are

• 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with high engineering standards.
• Strong experience and understanding of React, state management, front-end architecture, and concepts.
• Knowledge of advanced system design principles, data structures, algorithms, and data-intensive applications.
• Deep understanding of advanced performance optimisation techniques.
• Previous experience working in the backend.
• Experience owning projects from start to finish, including speccing, design, development, testing, deployment, and observability.
• Fluency in English with effective communication skills.

Bonus

• Background in fast-paced scale-up environments or as a founding engineer.
• Experience with graph or Canvas-based rendering, or graph/geometry editing.

Location

This is a fully remote position open to candidates in European timezones (UTC-1 to UTC+3) and the Americas (Eastern Time Zone or UTC-3 like Brazil/Argentina).
