About Studio

We've developed Studio, an app that enables writers to build worlds, develop characters, refine their craft, and publish their stories as print or digital books. Studio is unique and already used by tens of thousands daily.

Responsibilities

Your primary goal is to significantly grow Studio's monthly active users into the millions, establishing it as the essential app for authors. You will identify and engage new audiences, convert existing Reedsy users to Studio, and champion Studio as the premier tool for writing and editing books.

You will:

• Define growth objectives in collaboration with Reedsy’s management.
• Leverage Reedsy’s existing ecosystem through referral campaigns and fostering user advocacy.
• Expand our top-of-funnel by building a network of affiliates and influencers, and forging partnerships with brands and publications.
• Collaborate with our content team to produce engaging social media content and organize events.
• Explore new audiences and experiment with unproven community growth strategies.

Requirements

This role is ideal for a creative and analytical marketer with substantial experience in community building. We are looking for:

• 5+ years of proven experience in growth or product marketing within a fast-paced startup environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the craft of writing, gained through personal experience or formal studies.
• Experience in writing branded content for social media and email campaigns.
• Proficiency in mobile video creation and editing.
• Strong ability to collect, analyze, and report on performance data.

• You have developed your own creative project (e.g., a book, a blog, a product).
