Permanent full-time role – Singapore only
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be part of our global Sales organization and one of the founding members of the Kiln APAC team.
Responsibilities:
- Support Kiln’s Sales team in helping prospects, customers, and partners understand what is technically possible with Kiln
- Understand customer and partner requirements and communicate how Kiln can solve their business and technical challenges
- Plan and execute integration engineering end-to-end, from high-level architecture down to code implementation
- Create / Adapt local technical content to show customers how to implement specific use cases or best practices
- Serve as the primary, ongoing technical point of contact for our users’ and partners’ technical teams
- Report monthly and quarterly results
Requirements:
- Experience with REST APIs
- Experience in a programming language, ideally Python (or JavaScript)
- Professional experience or proven strong interest in blockchain and cryptocurrency
- Native or fluent in English
Nice-to-haves:
- Ideally fluent in Malay or Mandarin (orally & written)
- Experience in a fast-growing, early-stage company
- Experience designing, building, and deploying user-facing, infrastructure-related, and/or API-based products
Soft skills:
- Excellent presentation skills
- Able to explain technical topics to non-technical interlocutors
- Communicate with tech teams (bringing the needs from customers)
- Adapt physical material, such as slides, for our APAC customers
- Proactive and organized
- Detail-oriented
