About the Role
We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead client onboarding for Sardine’s fraud and compliance products. This hands-on role involves managing end-to-end integrations, translating technical requirements into scalable solutions, and ensuring successful deployments. You will work closely with clients and internal teams, thriving in a fast-paced environment while solving complex problems.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage implementation and integration efforts for fraud and compliance products.
- Provide end-to-end support to clients during their onboarding process, ensuring their success.
- Own APIs, SDK documentation, integration guides, and overall support documents.
- Analyze clients' technical and functional requirements to design solutions leveraging Sardine's system and product capabilities.
- Manage implementation projects, including monitoring quality, managing timelines, mitigating risk, and driving deliverables.
- Develop a deep understanding of customers' business problems, technical requirements, and success criteria to provide effective solutions.
- Provide product feedback to internal stakeholders, acting as the eyes and ears on the ground.
What You'll Need
- 4+ years of experience in technical roles such as Integrations Engineer, QA Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Solutions Architect, Systems Analyst, or Forward Deployed Engineer, with strong execution skills and expertise in integration and automation.
- Experience working with multiple technical teams, both internal and external.
- 2+ years of B2B SaaS experience in relevant domains (payment, fraud, risk, or compliance).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical and business concepts to diverse audiences.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, driving deliverables to completion.
- Proficiency with basic SQL querying and JSON payload analysis.
- Experience with API specifications like OpenAPI, web development, and scripting for internal tools (e.g., bash scripting, Python, SQL, Ruby, Golang, Postman).
