Job Summary

As a Developer Relations Engineer, you will serve as a Storyblok and headless CMS authority, reducing onboarding friction for the developer community through code sample creation, debugging, direct partner engagement, and long-tail support channels. You will act as a Storyblok advocate, helping external developers overcome missing functionalities or technical issues using plugins, tools, apps, or custom scripts, and monitoring external communities on Discord, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Dev.to.

Essential Job Functions

• Become a Storyblok and headless CMS authority, helping developers, partner agencies, and customers easily implement headless architecture.
• Guide developers and enterprise customers through workshops, tutorials, documentation, webinars, instructional videos, and product demos.
• Write sample applications, prototypes, and code samples showcasing the capabilities of Storyblok.
• Identify, document, and resolve missing pieces or technical issues in Storyblok APIs, SDKs, and services.
• Contribute code updates and bug fixes to Storyblok’s public open-source projects (SDKs, sample apps, starter kits).
• Propose feature enhancements for Storyblok Headless CMS based on community and enterprise feedback.
• Monitor, engage with, and support the Storyblok community across Discord, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Dev.to.
• Represent Storyblok at online and in-person events, webinars, and public speaking engagements.
• Help shape the roadmap for documentation, tutorials, and onboarding experiences.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, decision-making, and quality of work while applying sound critical thinking.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in web development.
• Experience with CMS platforms; Headless CMS experience is a plus.
• Thorough knowledge of consuming RESTful APIs (GraphQL APIs is a plus).
• Thorough knowledge of at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., Vue, React, Next, Nuxt, Astro, or Svelte).
• Experience with public speaking and organizing meetups or community events.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.

Desirable Experience

• Experience with developer support, customer calls, or developer relations activities.
• Background in technical writing.
