This job isn’t just about writing content. It’s about taking the excellent content you’ve written and giving it legs. It’s about actively putting your content in front of the right audiences so they can read what you’ve written. It’s about owning the outcome of what you produce.
We are seeking a talented and experienced Strategic Content Writer to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing and editing, as well as a deep understanding of search engine optimization (SEO), link building, and content distribution. Plus, a love for research, learning, experimentation, strategy, and networking.
What might that look like?
On any given day, you might be writing social media posts for the company account or the founders, digging deep into target keywords and target audiences, researching and contacting other websites/influencers/journalists for backlinking opportunities, writing SEO briefs for the content calendar, producing video scripts, strategizing landing page copy, creating sales enablement tools, or putting together knowledge base articles.

As a Strategic Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging content that is optimized for search engines and effectively promotes our brand. This will include writing blog posts, articles, video scripts, social media posts, and other types of content as needed.
In addition to writing and editing skills, you should also have a strong understanding of link building and the ability to identify and pursue opportunities for acquiring high-quality backlinks.
You should be comfortable using various SEO tools and be able to track and analyze the performance of your content to continually improve its effectiveness. You should also be comfortable writing a brief of your content that includes target keywords, target audiences, the purpose of the piece, title page, and outline of content.
To be successful in this role, you should have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment. You should also be highly organized and able to manage your time effectively in order to meet deadlines.
Overall, we are looking for a creative, detail-oriented individual with a passion for SEO and content marketing who can help drive the success of our online presence.

Responsibilities:
Write clearly and concisely, within brand voice guidelines, and on behalf of founders.
Strategize, create, edit, and produce copy for all company’s assets, including blogs, landing pages, podcasts, video scripts, sales decks, one-pagers, and more.
Research our product, industry, and customers, as well as news, developments, trends, and major pain points.
Strategize content ideas for the content calendar.
Utilize various link-building techniques, such as guest blogging, broken link building, and prospecting, to increase the number of high-quality backlinks to our website.
Develop and perform cold outreach strategies to have other websites backlink to content on our blog.
Requirements
Background in writing, SEO, and/or copywriting
Degree in English, Writing, or Marketing
Experience with social media preferred
Experience with B2B Saas preferred
Familiarity with immersive technologies preferred

About the Opportunity
We are going to market with a hot product in an emerging XR tech space. Companies are making decisions every day about what underlying platforms to use. Once they pick a platform, they rarely switch. It is vital that they know about us and see us as a leading solution. We have the industry-leading device management platform for XR. Our goal for 2023 is that by the end of the year, any organization doing XR headset deployments would know about us and perceive us as a leading device management solution.
We are looking for a forward-thinking communications and brand leader who is a fantastic writer to join us on our journey. This role will interact with the marketing and executive teams to drive campaigns that elevate ArborXR’s brand, generate leads, increase our audience and drive product awareness globally.
