About Sword Health
At Sword, we're pioneering AI Care, a fundamentally new approach to healthcare built for medical reasoning, safety, and real-time treatment. We are a clinical-centric frontier AI lab and an applied AI platform, reimagining how care is delivered at scale by removing traditional barriers like appointments, waiting rooms, and stigma. Our mission is to help more people access the care they need and ultimately get back to lives lived in full.
Since 2020, Sword has expanded across physical therapy, women's health, cardiometabolic, and mental health. We are now moving beyond the session to a fully AI-native, 24/7 care program that integrates physical activity, therapeutic exercise, psychotherapy, nutrition, and behavior change into one connected experience. With over 700,000 members across three continents, we've completed over 10 million AI sessions, helping 1,000+ enterprise clients avoid more than $1 billion in unnecessary healthcare costs. Backed by 42 clinical studies, 44+ patents, and over $500 million raised from leading investors, Sword is defining a new standard for healthcare.

The Role
Kaia Health, part of Sword, is the digital therapy for musculoskeletal (MSK) pain in Germany, prescribed by doctors and covered by statutory health insurers.
As a Sales Manager, you will be a key driver of Kaia's presence among doctors in Germany. You will acquire GPs, orthopaedic specialists, and other physicians, practice networks, and clinics as prescribers of Kaia, building trust and developing long-term partnerships. Your goal is to translate Kaia's clinical value into reliable prescription volume, helping more patients with back pain access an effective, evidence-based therapy.
You'll be one of the first members of our German team, with significant ownership in a remote-first setup and a direct impact on our growth.
What you’ll be doing
- Prescriber Acquisition: Win new prescribers among GPs, orthopaedic specialists, pain specialists, and other relevant physicians. You'll mainly work with warm leads, supplemented by some cold outreach.
- Partnerships: Build and grow partnerships with MVZs, practice networks, and clinics to generate scalable prescription volume.
- Relationship Management: Keep existing prescribers engaged and increase their prescription volume over time.
- Hybrid Selling: Conduct video calls and digital meetings with physicians and practice teams, and visit in person where it makes a difference.
- Practice Enablement: Facilitate easy prescription of Kaia for practices through materials, training, and simplified processes.
- Targets & KPIs: Independently organize your sales activities to meet and exceed your growth targets.
- CRM: Document all activities and your pipeline in the CRM for transparency and data-driven decision-making.
- Market Feedback: Share insights from physicians with Marketing, Operations, and Product teams.
What you need to have
- Native-level German (C2).
- Experience in the German healthcare system (e.g., pharma, medtech, DiGA, digital health) and a solid understanding of medical indications.
- Ideally, a proven sales track record of hitting targets, preferably selling to physicians or other healthcare professionals.
- Strong consultative selling skills: ability to build trust with physicians and speak their language.
- A high degree of self-organization and ownership, well-suited to a remote-first setup.
- Nice to have: An existing network among GPs, orthopaedic specialists, or practice networks; DiGA experience; a degree in business, life sciences, health management, or a comparable field.
Compensation
This is a starting point, not a ceiling. Once someone joins and proves they're outlier talent, we adjust quickly to ensure their compensation matches their impact. Job titles may span more than one career level, so actual pay depends on skills, qualifications, experience, location, and market demand, among other factors. The range reflects base salary plus any variable, bonus, or sales incentives, and our estimate of the value of private company stock options where applicable. It's subject to change, and future stock value isn't guaranteed. Sword also offers additional benefits beyond total compensation.
Country-specific benefits may vary and will be detailed separately.
