Company Description
Workleap is a Montreal-based tech company founded in 2006. We make simple products that actually matter to the people who use them, featuring solutions like Workleap Agent and ShareGate. More than 15,000 companies worldwide trust us to streamline their work.
Your Role
At Workleap, our engineering teams already ship more than twice as fast with AI. Now we're expanding beyond code to everything around it: briefs, specs, design, launch, and measurement. As a Senior AI Developer, you'll join the Product Ops team to shape and build the technical foundation for production agents that automate the product lifecycle.
Your Impact:
- Ship the first production agents with Product Managers, starting with brief creation and design handoffs.
- Shape shared architecture and standards (orchestration, skills, memory, evals, guardrails) across product lines.
- Own production quality: observability, testing, security, and cost control with human approval at every gate.
- Co-design with Product Managers to build intuitive, automated workflows.
- Measure what works—time saved, cost per agent, and shipped decisions—cutting what doesn't add value.
- Grow others by sharing agent development practices across the team.
Your Team
You'll join the Product Ops team, working daily alongside Product Managers, our AI-Software Development Life Cycle team, and data engineers. Our technology ecosystem includes Claude (Claude Code, skills, Managed Agents, Design), MCP, Slack, Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Mixpanel, Snowflake, and Azure.
What You'll Bring
- Strong production engineering experience across the agent development lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience designing and shipping multi-agent systems to production (orchestration, tools, context, memory, Slack, Atlassian, MCP).
- Experience instrumenting and evaluating non-deterministic systems (evals, observability, regression testing, cost tracking).
- Sound architectural judgment across reliability, security, and cost.
- Experience building components or tooling that other people adopt.
- Real product sense and a builder mindset, comfortable with ambiguity.
- Bonus: Product management experience or background in B2B SaaS, HR, or IT products.
What the Job Comes With
- Base salary: $140,000 - $170,000 (adjusted based on region).
- Annual bonus program.
- LTIP program for long-term growth.
- RRSP + Family health insurance + telemedicine + annual wellness budget.
- Flexible vacation policy.
- Remote work across Canada, with access to our Montreal office and semi-annual in-person gatherings.
