Manager, GTM Analytics - Zapier

About the Role

Zapier is hiring a Manager, Analytics & Strategy to lead our newly formed GTM Analytics team. This team serves as the central analytics hub for Marketing, Sales, RevOps, and Customer Ops, with a mandate to deliver trusted insights, improve decision-making speed, and build durable self-service analytics assets.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will manage a team of embedded analysts while remaining deeply involved in technical execution, including SQL review, dashboard inspection, and analytical coaching.

Things You'll Do

• Lead the Team: Manage analysts embedded within Marketing, Sales, and Support/Customer Ops.
• Build Operating Models: Establish fast, trusted processes for intake, prioritization, QA, and recurring business reviews.
• Drive GTM Strategy: Partner with leaders to clarify ambiguous questions and translate them into actionable metrics, cohorts, and recommendations.
• Technical Oversight: Review SQL, dashboards, and metric definitions to ensure high-quality, reliable data outputs.
• Automate & Scale: Turn recurring requests into governed self-service assets, AI primitives, and reusable dashboards.
• Advanced Analytics: Apply statistical rigor to experimentation, incrementality, forecasting, and segmentation.
• Coach & Mentor: Develop team members through clear expectations, direct feedback, and a culture of peer learning.

About You

• Experience: 6+ years in analytics, finance, revenue operations, or related fields; 3+ years in a management or leadership capacity.
• GTM Expertise: Deep understanding of funnels, pipeline, ARR, campaign performance, and lifecycle analytics.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert-level SQL skills and strong analytical reasoning. Comfortable with statistics (confidence intervals, regression, etc.).
• Operational Rigor: Ability to operate with urgency and precision in a fast-paced environment. Experience in finance or investment banking is a plus.
• AI-Native: Actively uses AI tools to accelerate analysis, QA SQL, and prototype workflows.
• Communication: Excellent at building trust with stakeholders and aligning teams on source-of-truth metrics.
