About the Role

Working closely with teams across Product, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Data Insights, you’ll connect partner priorities with Appfire’s solutions and business objectives. This is a senior individual contributor role where you’ll independently lead strategic initiatives, influence decisions across the organization, and help deliver long-term value for Appfire and its partners.
What You'll Do
- Build and nurture strategic relationships with key stakeholders across Atlassian and other technology partner organizations, acting as a trusted representative of Appfire.
- Lead strategic partnership initiatives from opportunity identification through execution, aligning cross-functional teams and driving measurable business outcomes.
- Monitor partner platform developments, product roadmaps, marketplace programs, policies, and business models to identify opportunities and risks for Appfire.
- Connect Appfire’s product capabilities with partner priorities and customer needs to identify opportunities for collaboration, innovation, integrations, and growth.
- Evaluate partnership opportunities and commercial models, providing recommendations based on business impact, market dynamics, and commercial considerations.
- Represent Appfire in strategic partner meetings, business reviews, ecosystem forums, and senior-level discussions to advance shared objectives.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Data Insights to develop and execute partnership strategies.
- Translate complex technical, commercial, and ecosystem developments into clear insights and actionable recommendations that inform business priorities and strategic decisions.
What You'll Need
- 7+ years of experience in strategic alliances, technology partnerships, ecosystem management, marketplace strategy, product partnerships, or a related role within enterprise software.
- Strong relationship-building skills and demonstrated experience independently managing senior external stakeholders and strategic partner relationships.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct reporting authority.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software ecosystems, digital marketplaces, and technology partnership business models.
- Ability to assess commercial opportunities, exercise sound business judgment, and develop recommendations that support business growth.
- Experience working with Product and Engineering teams on technology platforms, integrations, or other complex technical initiatives.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to translate complex technical and commercial topics into clear business recommendations.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, work independently, and adapt to evolving technologies, partner priorities, and market conditions.
