Salesforce Developer - Appfire

At Appfire, we believe that great work happens when people get to choose how they work. After 20 years of creating software that empowers teams to break silos and collaborate seamlessly, we've learned that one size does not fit all. We’re a team of 800+ employees, working remotely across 28 countries. Our flagship products include: JXL, Comala Document Management, 7Pace Time Tracker, Jira Misc Workflow Extensions, and BigPicture.

We are looking for a Salesforce Developer (internal job title will be Software Engineer) to design, build, and maintain scalable solutions across our Salesforce environment, helping our global Revenue organization work more efficiently and effectively. Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Applications, you will partner closely with Revenue Operations, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and other business teams to translate business requirements into reliable, user-friendly Salesforce solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain Salesforce solutions: Build, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications, workflows, automations, integrations, and data models that support our evolving business needs.
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions: Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, identify opportunities for process improvement, and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Build automation and improve processes: Design and implement automation using Salesforce Flow, Apex, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce capabilities to streamline and scale business processes.
  • Manage integrations and data: Support integrations between Salesforce and other business systems, ensuring reliable data flow, data quality, and consistent processes across our GTM technology stack.
  • Support the Salesforce platform: Troubleshoot issues, investigate root causes, manage enhancements, and contribute to the ongoing administration, optimization, security, and performance of the Salesforce environment.
  • Drive continuous improvement: Contribute to Salesforce architecture, development standards, documentation, testing, and release processes while helping establish scalable practices as our Salesforce environment and business grow.

What You Will Need

  • 3+ years of Salesforce development experience, with hands-on experience building and maintaining solutions on the Salesforce platform, ideally in a B2B SaaS or technology environment.
  • Strong Salesforce development skills, including experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations and data: Solid understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, data models, data migration, and integrating Salesforce with other business applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to understand complex business processes, diagnose technical issues, and design practical, scalable solutions.
  • Experience working cross-functionally: Comfortable partnering with Revenue Operations, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and technical stakeholders, translating business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Ownership and growth mindset: Able to work independently in a global, remote-first environment, manage multiple priorities, document your work, and continuously improve both the Salesforce platform and the way the organization uses it.

What We Offer

  • Company equity eligibility for every Appfire team member.
  • Fully covered Luxmed private healthcare plan (with options to extend to partner/upgrades) and UNUM life insurance fully paid by Appfire.
