As our integration ecosystem continues to grow at Ashby (with over 300 integrations today), we’re looking for an Integrations Lead, Partnerships to take on Integrations as a full scope, including building out our integration ecosystem for new products (like People Workflows).
You’ll report directly to Kat Fergerson and own our integration partnerships across inbound, outbound, and account management, acting as the technical liaison for our Product Managers and Engineering team.
This is a highly cross-functional role requiring strong collaboration with Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, Product, and Marketing. You’ll guide inbound partners on best practices for developing use cases against our APIs.
What You’ll Do
Own the Inbound Integration Lifecycle
- Manage inbound integration requests from qualification through launch and ongoing maintenance, balancing customer value, technical feasibility, and priorities.
- Guide partners through NDA, sandbox access, API documentation, onboarding, testing, and launch.
- Set clear expectations, keep work moving, and close the loop thoughtfully when an integration isn't a fit.
Connect Partners, Product, and Engineering
- Serve as the technical and commercial liaison between partners and internal teams (Product, Engineering, CS, Sales, Marketing).
- Translate partner and customer needs into requirements and determine the right technical path (native build, partner-built, connector, unified API).
- Help partners navigate API concepts such as authentication, endpoints, webhooks, data mapping, and workflow design.
- Ensure integration knowledge successfully reaches Sales, Customer Success, and Support.
Own Quality, Launches, and Strategic Partnerships
- Coordinate integration reviews and launch readiness with partners and Product.
- Maintain the external integration directory and partner-facing resources with Marketing and Product Marketing.
- Manage major integration relationships (e.g., ADP), working with Enterprise Sales, CS, and Product.
- Represent Ashby externally in partner discovery, technical scoping, and roadmap conversations.
- Optimize current integrations and coordinate updates.
Improve Operational Foundations for Scale
- Keep HubSpot and partnership systems current with context, status, and ownership.
- Improve swim lanes, handoffs, SLAs, documentation, reporting, and support paths.
- Automate high-frequency, low-variance work while preserving human judgment for qualification and strategy.
About You
- Experience at the intersection of partnerships, product, technology, and customers (integration/platform partnerships, technical program management, product management, solutions architecture, or implementation).
- Technically fluent enough to understand APIs, authentication, data flows, webhooks, sandboxes, and integration tradeoffs.
- Strong product and business judgment to distinguish between requests, customer problems, and strategic opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to build trust and turn messy conversations into crisp requirements.
- Operationally disciplined, improvement-minded, and customer-obsessed.
