Principal, Analyst Relations Lead - Ashby

About the Role

As we continue to grow and solidify our position upmarket, Ashby is looking for a Principal, Analyst Relations (AR) Lead to drive our global strategy. This is not a traditional AR role; we are looking for someone who can become a product expert, build high-impact relationships that convert to qualified pipeline, and exercise sharp instincts on when to engage.

You will work closely with Product Marketing (PMM) and the Executive Leadership Team to refine our product narrative and ensure it reaches the right firms at the right time.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Strategic AR Programs: Execute high-impact programs tailored to increase brand awareness and buyer preference.
  • Cultivate Influencer Advocacy: Partner with key analysts to ensure they understand Ashby's direction and product roadmap, securing leadership in research reports.
  • Internal Strategic Integration: Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to integrate analyst insights into our product strategy, narratives, and marketing materials.
  • Lead Analyst Engagements: Manage the end-to-end process for briefings, inquiries, and major analyst firm events.
  • Represent Ashby at Events: Lead our briefing strategy at key industry conferences and evolve our analyst strategy at our flagship conference, Ashby One.

You Will Love This Role If

  • You enjoy analyzing trends in the HR Tech space (previous experience as a journalist or PR lead is a plus).
  • You excel at building relationships and managing events.
  • You have a talent for influencing outcomes and shaping perception without ego.
  • You value critical thinking and possess strong writing skills.
  • You are detail-oriented, ensuring every brief and RFI is accurate and polished.

This Role Is Not a Fit If

  • You prefer briefings but dislike writing the associated documentation.
  • You rely heavily on existing playbooks rather than thinking from first principles.
  • You struggle with autonomy or require constant direction.
  • You lack the discernment required to judge which opportunities align with our goals.
  • You do not enjoy traveling for industry conferences and events.
