About AuthZed

AuthZed creates and maintains SpiceDB and the authorization infrastructure that companies worldwide rely on. As a Series A company, we are dedicated to fixing broken access control by providing products that eliminate complex permission management while delivering enterprise-scale performance and consistent access control.

We are a fully remote company with employees across the US, Canada, and Europe. We are a hardworking and close-knit group with a software-driven culture, bringing integrity to all interactions, fostering confidence in decision-making, and trusting and respecting every voice on our team.

Company Values:

  • Agency: Everyone has the capability, freedom, and confidence to bring about changes to our business and product. Organizational processes define goals without restricting progress.
  • Collaboration: Success is multifaceted, and no single person is an expert in all dimensions. Valuing opinions, finding compromises, and sharing mutual trust and respect are essential for the best solutions.
  • Open-mindedness: Asking questions, testing assumptions, and questioning biases prevents operating within an echo-chamber. We celebrate diverse perspectives and backgrounds as a catalyst for an inclusive work environment.
