
About the Role
We are seeking a self-directed, experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our dynamic Product team. You will directly impact the success of Auvik’s products by supporting and leading product launches, competitive knowledge, and sales/customer success enablement. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including demand gen, sales, product management, and customer success, to ensure effective product positioning and communication to our target audience.
Key Responsibilities
Building Knowledge and Awareness
- Product Expertise: Serve as a technical product expert and spokesperson, deeply understanding Auvik’s value proposition.
- Market Intelligence: Maintain a pulse on the industry by nurturing relationships with key customers and influencers.
- Competitive Landscape: Monitor competitors to identify opportunities and threats.
- Customer Insights: Engage directly with prospects and customers to map product capabilities to their specific challenges.
Developing and Executing Strategy
- Launch Management: Support the launch of new product releases and updates.
- Positioning & Messaging: Collaborate with product management to develop messaging that resonates with target buyer personas.
- Brand Advocacy: Champion the Auvik brand internally and externally.
- Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the sales enablement team to develop internal tools and external collateral.
- Strategic Planning: Provide input into sales and marketing plans, including key activities and budget management.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, product, sales, and customer success to ensure alignment and high-impact go-to-market plays.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in a technical product marketing role within a B2B SaaS organization (network or IT management software preferred).
- A track record of shaping product marketing vision and executing high-impact go-to-market strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling content and deliver persuasive presentations.
- Data-driven mentality with exceptional ROI-tracking skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Networking, or equivalent experience).
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Bonus: Experience marketing to IT professionals/MSPs, analyst relations, and certifications like Pragmatic Marketing or Product Marketing Alliance.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $87,500—$114,000 CAD.
- Equity: All full-time employees are granted stock options.
