
What’s this role about?
We are seeking a self-directed, experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our dynamic Product team. You will directly impact the success of Auvik’s products by supporting and leading product launches, competitive knowledge, and sales and customer success enablement. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including demand gen, sales, product management, and customer success, to ensure effective product positioning and communication to our target audience.
What will you be doing?
Building Knowledge and Awareness
- Product Expertise: Serve as a technical product expert and spokesperson, deeply understanding Auvik products and the value they bring to the market.
- Market Intelligence: Know our buyers and users. Identify and nurture relationships with key customers and industry influencers.
- Competitive Landscape: Monitor the competition to identify opportunities and threats.
- Knowledge Sharing: Share insights with the broader team to inform targeting, content, and sales strategies.
Developing and Executing Strategy
- Support the launches of new product releases and updates.
- Collaborate with product management to develop positioning and messaging that resonates with target buyer personas.
- Champion the Auvik brand internally and externally.
- Provide input into sales and marketing plans, including key activities and budgets.
- Support the sales enablement team by developing internal tools and external collateral.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment and develop high-impact go-to-market plays.
- Continuously evaluate systems and processes to improve efficiency.
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience in a technical product marketing role within a B2B SaaS organization (ideally network or IT management software).
- A track record of shaping product marketing vision and executing high-impact go-to-market strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A data-driven mentality with strong ROI-tracking skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (computer science, networking, etc.) or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
Bonus Points
- Experience marketing to IT professionals, MSPs, or network administrators.
- Experience with analyst relations, competitive intelligence, or market research.
- Pragmatic Marketing or Product Marketing Alliance certification.
- Experience launching technical SaaS products in global markets.
