The Role

We are hiring an Engineering Manager to lead two squads building our core product—property operations and guest experience. You will partner with Product and Design to turn our roadmap into reality and report directly to the Director of Engineering.

What You’ll Do

Lead and Grow Your Squads

• Manage engineers through regular 1:1s, coaching, feedback, and career development.
• Own hiring, onboarding, performance, and retention.
• Build a culture where engineers do their best work and feel supported.

Own Delivery

• Partner with Product and Design to translate the roadmap into clear, executable plans.
• Own planning, capacity, estimation, and prioritization.
• Keep releases small, frequent, and well-tested with tight feedback loops.
• Remove blockers, manage cross-squad dependencies, and surface risks early.

Shape Technical Direction

• Partner with engineering leadership on technical roadmaps and cross-squad alignment.
• Provide technical guidance and help squads make sound architecture and design decisions.
• Maintain a high bar for engineering quality and operational health.
• Champion modern engineering practices, including AI-assisted development.

What You’ll Bring

• Several years of software engineering experience, including ~2+ years of direct management.
• A track record of leading delivery in product engineering.
• A solid technical foundation; you can engage credibly on architecture, design, and code.
• Experience in an iterative, agile-style delivery model.
• Familiarity with React, Python, and AWS best practices.
• Bonus: Experience in B2B SaaS, operations software, hospitality, or maturing engineering processes in fast-growing organizations.
