Sales Development Representative (SDR) - Bridgeway Benefit Technologies
About the Role
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is the process-driven engine of our lead generation machine. As Bridgeway's first SDR, you will establish a repeatable lead generation process, execute defined scripts on outbound interactions, and capture clean data in the CRM.
This is a remote position with minimal overnight travel. East coast candidates are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Outreach
- Execute the full defined lead generation process: list pull, research, call, email follow-up, and CRM logging for every prospect.
- Make 60–80 outbound calls per day following the approved call script and conduct multi-touch cadences (call, email, LinkedIn) on priority accounts.
- Qualify inbound marketing leads using the standard script and route sales-ready opportunities to Account Executives within 24 hours.
- Research target accounts and contacts to personalize outreach while maintaining qualification structure.
Script Adherence & Quality
- Follow Bridgeway’s lead generation call script verbatim and use approved rebuttals for common objections.
- Participate in weekly call review sessions and script scoring against the sales leadership rubric.
- Complete script certification for any new script version within 5 business days of release.
Data Integrity & CRM
- Log every call outcome, contact field, and disposition in HubSpot immediately after each interaction.
- Maintain a 95%+ CRM field completion rate and resolve flagged records within 48 hours.
- Surface data anomalies and contribute to weekly pipeline data reviews.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with Account Executives on account prioritization and handoff quality through weekly syncs.
- Share script objection patterns and market intelligence with the team.
- Meet and exceed monthly quotas for qualified meetings booked and sales-qualified opportunities (SQOs) created.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a high-volume customer-facing role (SDR/BDR experience strongly preferred).
- Comfortable operating as the first SDR and helping set team standards.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently follow a structured process and scripts.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to handle objections naturally using approved rebuttals.
- Strong CRM discipline with real-time logging experience.
- Comfort with high call volume and sustained energy through calling blocks.
- Constructive feedback orientation with strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with sales engagement platforms (Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo) and call recording tools (Gong, Chorus) is strongly preferred.
