What You'll Do
The primary objective of the Operations Analyst II position is to contribute to a team that strives to produce positive customer experiences through ongoing service and support for a broad range of clients across multiple specialized functional areas. The Analyst will support the team by performing client tasks and auditing responsibilities in the areas of Payroll, Carrier Files, Demographic Files, and audits.
Note: This role operates with Central time zone expectations for availability, regardless of geography.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll
- Conduct thorough audits of payroll files to identify discrepancies and errors.
- Verify accuracy of data related to employee compensation, benefits, and deductions.
- Collaborate with Senior Operations Associates (SOA) and Operations Managers (OM) to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of audit findings and resolutions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency.
Demographic Files
- Audit inbound demographic files to verify accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Identify discrepancies or anomalies and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Review demographic data mappers to ensure logic and accurate results.
- Develop and implement quality control measures to improve data accuracy.
Carrier Files (VI)
- Audit outbound carrier files (vendor files) to verify accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Review carrier data mappers to ensure logical mappings and accurate results.
- Implement quality control measures and document audit procedures.
System Audits
- Conduct audits of the bswift system to verify accuracy of benefit enrollments, cost/coverage data, and other data elements.
- Manage deliverables independently and contribute to the health of the overall client book.
- Build relationships with internal customers via ongoing governance and personal discussions.
What You Need to Succeed
- Experience: 1+ years of work experience (including summer jobs or internships).
- Education: B.A. or B.S. required, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Skills: Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office products, strong customer service orientation, and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Attributes: Adaptability to rapidly changing priorities and a willingness to work overtime on occasion with prior approval.
