Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of our cloud-native, API-first platform—our autonomous application security testing platform. We aim to help organizations find and fix security vulnerabilities faster than threat actors can exploit them.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack features across a Python/Flask backend and a TypeScript/React frontend.
• Apply expertise in scalable API-first architecture, service patterns, and robust API standards for third-party integrations.
• Build and maintain integrations connecting with customer systems, security tools, workflow engines, and more.
• Create consistent service patterns and ensure strong guarantees around interfaces and performance.
• Improve internal engineering tools that support security triage and vulnerability workflows.
• Collaborate with designers using our accessible and standards-compliant design system.
• Ensure high accessibility, stability, and performance across integration workflows.

Requirements

• 3+ years of full-stack software development experience (product-focused environment preferred).
• Experience or background in the cybersecurity domain.
• Strong technical skills in full-stack development, including backend API development (Python/Flask) and frontend development (TypeScript/React).
• Strong background in agile delivery, backlog management, and stakeholder communication.
• Excellent problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Rust (used in internal CLIs).
• Experience with GCP and/or AWS, GitHub Actions, and Keycloak.

Work Environment

• Primarily remote, with occasional in-person presence as needed.
