About the Role
We are hiring an ADR I to join our Account Development team. This is a tight-knit, energetic team that takes outbound seriously. We run structured prospecting motions, share what's working in real time, celebrate wins, and allow for flexibility. Booking a good meeting takes real work, and progressing an opportunity puts ADRs at the forefront of a great Go-To-Market motion.
This role is a strong entry point into tech sales for someone who wants to learn and refine the fundamentals of prospecting, discovery, and pipeline generation inside an enterprise software motion. You'll work directly with Account Executives but will also be responsible for prospecting into your own patch.
All ADRs are required to have a remote environment conducive to consistent weekly motions and to be able to travel 4-6 times per year, usually a week or less at a time.
As an ADR I, you'll run long-term outbound and timely inbound prospecting motions to generate qualified pipeline for our sales team. This involves working emails, sales cadences, social outreach, and most importantly, calls to get in front of the right people at the right accounts at the right time. A sustainable pipeline is built through persistence, consistency, a growth mindset, and an ability to diagnose challenges and bring solutions within your own prospecting motion.
What you'll be doing:
- Generate qualified pipeline by running outbound prospecting across email, phone, event outreach and attendance, and LinkedIn into target accounts.
- Qualify inbound interest through ADR-led scheduled calls and convert into booked meetings for Account Executives.
- Research accounts, personas, and signals to tailor and leverage AI for high-touch, low-impact motions.
- Partner with Account Executives to understand what constitutes a quality meeting, contact, and account, and adjust your approach based on feedback.
- Exhibit excellent operational hygiene by tracking activity and pipeline health in Salesforce and other sales tools to monitor your own inputs and performance.
- Learn Camunda's product and value propositions and the process orchestration space well enough to have credible, useful conversations with prospects in specific verticals.
What you bring:
- Some experience with outbound prospecting or customer-facing communication is preferred. This doesn't have to be in sales; internships, retail, hospitality, or customer support all count if you know how to build rapport with people, manage expectations, and handle rejection.
- Comfort with strict time management and prioritization of requests. You'll be conducting a lot of calls and emails, and you're motivated by the math of it. You will also be given regular enablement and will be responsible for monitoring multiple sources of leads.
- Curiosity about technology and a willingness to learn a technical product. You don't need an engineering background, but you need to be genuinely interested in understanding what Camunda does and why it matters to the people you're calling.
- Resilience and self-awareness. You know how to keep going without getting discouraged, and you can tell the difference between a bad day and a bad approach.
- Coachability. You take feedback from your manager and AEs seriously and change your approach in a timely and meaningful way based on it.
- Cross-functional relationships. You have a curiosity as to how things work and which individuals you can support and thus that can support you. You ask questions and challenge the status quo if you’ve experienced a better solution.
Nice-to-haves:
- Ability and/or willingness to use our product.
