About the Team

Our Network Services product suite provides connectivity, scale, and performance for customer network infrastructure and private networks. We offer a single pane of glass for network functions like BGP, WAN optimization, and more. We are looking for builders who want to solve real-world networking problems using innovative technologies.

The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work across a wide range of technologies to deliver new features, improve performance, and increase the scalability of our Network Services products. You will build, deploy, and operate systems on top of one of the largest edge networks in the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop anycast BGP implementations that sustain sessions across servers and regions.
• Build flow and log collection, correlation, and analytics systems for network visibility.
• Work on Linux kernel-based networking dataplanes to ingest and forward traffic.
• Design control plane systems for complex network configurations.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience building and shipping large-scale, reliable, highly distributed systems.
• Systems-level programming expertise, specifically in Go and Rust.
• Deep knowledge of L3 and L4 networking protocols.
• Experience with Linux kernel networking primitives (netfilter, nftables, eBPF, tc, network namespaces).
• Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and backend systems.
• Experience with large-scale distributed data pipelines.
• Strong debugging, optimization, and communication skills.
