About Comet
Comet is building the development platform for teams who want to ship robust, reliable, and responsible AI applications. Opik, our open source LLM evaluation framework, has quickly become one of the most popular tools in the space. Our experiment management platform is used by data scientists at companies like Uber, Netflix, and Etsy. Tens of thousands of researchers, engineers, academics, and hobbyists use Comet every day to build the future of AI.
Comet is backed by more than $63 million in venture capital funding and powers some of the best machine-learning teams in the world, including Netflix, Uber, Etsy, and Mobileye. We are a remote-first company with offices in New York City (USA) and Tel Aviv (Israel).
The Role
We are seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to serve as the primary technical and strategic partner for our customers post-sale. This is a hybrid role, blending the technical depth of a TAM with the relationship ownership of a Customer Success Manager: you will onboard and enable new customers, provide hands-on AI/ML expertise (including on agentic AI systems), and act as a trusted advisor and extension of the customer's own team throughout their lifecycle with Comet.
This role is fully remote in North America and reports directly to the Head of Customer Success.
Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of global accounts across financial services, insurance, pharmaceuticals, transportation, and technology as their primary post-sale point of contact.
- Lead new customer onboarding and enablement, ensuring teams are set up for success on the Comet platform from day one.
- Drive value for customers by helping them achieve business and technical outcomes as a trusted advisor.
- Gain a deep understanding of customer use cases and ML goals, including agentic AI and multi-agent systems.
- Lead technical enablement sessions covering time series forecasting, computer vision, LLM fine-tuning, RAG application evaluation, and agentic AI workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical questions, assist with Python SDK integrations, and lead technical working sessions.
- Build examples and guide customers on leveraging integrations (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Ray, OpenAI, Bedrock, LangChain, LangGraph).
- Leverage customer health analytics to proactively identify expansion opportunities and churn risks in partnership with Sales.
- Support the renewal process by ensuring ongoing value delivery.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to provide customer and market feedback to shape the product roadmap.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in the AI/ML domain in a customer-facing role (TAM, CSM, Solutions Engineering, or Data Science consulting).
- Hands-on experience with LLM and agentic AI development processes, models, and orchestration frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, LangGraph, Bedrock).
- Deep knowledge of Python and ML frameworks (e.g., Keras, PyTorch, TensorFlow, XGBoost, Hugging Face).
- Basic experience working with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong understanding of the current ML, MLOps, and agentic AI landscape.
- Strong communication, presentation, and active listening skills.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities across a multi-account portfolio.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to travel a couple of times per quarter.
What We Offer
- Competitive base salary based on experience, skills, and location.
- Competitive benefits package.
- Flexible working hours and remote work options.
