About Us
Constructor is the next-generation platform for search and discovery in ecommerce, built to explicitly optimize for metrics like revenue, conversion rate, and profit. Our search engine is entirely invented in-house utilizing transformers and generative LLMs, and we use its core and personalization capabilities to power everything from search itself to recommendations to shopping agents. Engineering is by far our largest department, and we’ve built our proprietary engine to be the best on the market, having never lost an A/B test to a competitive technology. We’re passionate about maintaining this and work on the bleeding edge of AI to do so.
Out of necessity, our engine is built for extreme scale and powers over 1 billion queries every day across 150 languages and roughly 100 countries. It is used by some of the biggest ecommerce companies in the world like Sephora, Under Armour, and Petco.
We’re a passionate team who love solving problems and want to make our customers’ and coworkers’ lives better. We value empathy, openness, curiosity, continuous improvement, and are excited by metrics that matter. We believe that empowering everyone in a company to do what they do best can lead to great things.
Constructor is a U.S. based company that has been in the market since 2019. It was founded by Eli Finkelshteyn and Dan McCormick who still lead the company today.
About the Position
We're looking for a proactive and highly organized Technical Project Manager to lead customer implementations across Constructor's product suite. You will lead onboardings for new customers as well as implementations of additional products for existing customers, owning each engagement from kickoff through activation. You will own the plan, the timeline, and the outcome, and you drive the people delivering it through a matrixed reporting structure. As we build toward an automation-first operating model, you will help standardize how implementations are run and increasingly act as a portfolio strategist, managing exceptions while repeatable, AI-assisted processes carry the routine work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead End-to-End Implementations: Manage multiple implementations from kickoff through integration, testing, and activation for both new-customer onboardings and additional-product rollouts.
- Own the Outcome: Be accountable for the success of each implementation, standing behind on-time, predictable go-lives whether delivered by Constructor, the customer, or a partner.
- Drive Every Contributor: Coordinate Constructor technical resources, customer resources, and partners against one plan, holding each accountable to commitments through influence.
- Lead the Customer Experience: Serve as the primary point of contact through activation, setting expectations and building customer confidence from kickoff to handoff.
- Manage Handoffs & Risk: Ensure accurate handoffs from Sales into implementation and from implementation into Customer Success and Support, surfacing risks early to keep delivery on track.
- Build Scalable Process: Maintain implementation plans and reporting in systems of record, help standardize delivery processes, and partner on advancing the automation-first operating model.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of technical project management or onboarding project management experience, ideally in a SaaS environment.
- A track record of owning delivery outcomes end to end and holding cross-functional contributors accountable through influence rather than direct authority.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to run multiple implementations in parallel without losing detail.
- Customer-facing confidence: ability to lead kickoffs, manage expectations, and keep stakeholders aligned through go-live.
- Proven ability to prioritize effectively, manage competing demands, and maintain clarity under ambiguity.
Nice to Have
- Technical fluency sufficient to direct integration specialists and translate between technical and business stakeholders.
- Exposure to ecommerce, product discovery, LLMs, and familiarity with concepts like catalog data feeds, integrations, and APIs.
- Experience coordinating implementations that span internal teams, customer resources, and third-party partners.
Benefits
- Unlimited vacation time (minimum 3 weeks per year encouraged)
- Competitive compensation package including stock options
- 100% remote working environment
- Work from home setup stipend
- Apple laptops provided for new employees
