Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack - Customer.io

About the Role

Customer.io is looking for curious, driven Fullstack Engineers to own core product experiences. You will design, build, and ship features that help our customers send smarter, more relevant messages using real-time behavioral data.

What You’ll Do

• Build fullstack features in Go, React, and Ember that power key customer workflows.
• Collaborate with the team to turn ideas into shipped customer value.
• Share knowledge through public progress updates, thoughtful writing, and mentorship.
• Evolve systems to scale with increasing customer demand and use cases.
• Utilize AI agents to scope, write, and verify multi-file code changes.

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of experience building and scaling backend services and product-facing features.
• Fluency in TypeScript, React (or similar), and a statically typed backend language like Go.
• A strong focus on frontend polish, backend performance, and overall customer experience.
• Proficiency with APIs, relational databases, and writing testable, performant code.
• A bias for action and pride in owning technical decisions.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 USD (or local equivalent).
