Senior Full-Stack Engineer - AI Cost Visibility

About the Role

The Senior Full-Stack Engineer will be an integral part of our Engineering teams in EMEA. This role is based remotely as a full-time employee in the UK, Ireland, Estonia, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Israel, or as a contractor in Eastern Europe and Portugal.

AI is the fastest-growing line on our customers' cloud bills—and the hardest one to see. Model APIs, managed inference, GPUs, and a growing fleet of agentic coding tools each report spend differently, and most teams still can't answer basic cost questions. Our AI cost visibility product, part of DoiT Cloud Intelligence, exists to answer them.

We're hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer into our R&D team to own this product end-to-end—from the Go services that ingest and model AI spend, through the APIs that expose it, to the React interfaces where FinOps practitioners and platform engineers make decisions. You will shape how the product works and work AI-augmented across your entire engineering workflow.

Responsibilities

• Owning features end-to-end: Take a problem from understanding customer pain, through design and implementation, to release, monitoring, and iteration. Define what done looks like and own the outcome.
• Domain mastery: Understand how AI spend works—token and model pricing, inference, GPU economics, and team allocation—and how FinOps practitioners reason about it.
• Working AI-augmented: Use AI daily across your entire workflow for codebase exploration, prototyping, code generation, debugging, tests, and documentation.
• Full-stack delivery: Design, build, and scale backend services in Go and product experiences in TypeScript and React. Turn large volumes of cost and usage data into fast, clear interfaces.
• API-first: Build capabilities so they are fully available via APIs, enabling both humans and agents to drive the platform.
• Raising the bar: Set engineering standards through design reviews, robust practices, and mentorship across the team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including multi-tenant SaaS products, with a track record of owning features or products end-to-end in production.
• Strong Go for backend services, APIs, and data processing.
• Strong TypeScript and modern React, with an eye for data presentation.
• Comfortable across the stack, capable of owning features from data models to UI.
• Experience building on public cloud (GCP preferred; AWS or Azure) and SQL proficiency with analytical data stores (e.g., BigQuery).
• Product-oriented mindset with a strong focus on user experience and business impact.
• AI-augmented working style with practical experience using AI tools across engineering workflows.
• Strong software engineering practices, architectural design skills, and ability to handle ambiguity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Bonus Points

• Knowledge of FinOps concepts and FinOps products.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrable portfolio of production projects.
