Full Stack Engineer - Cloud & SaaS Integrations

About the Role

Our Full Stack Software Engineer will be an integral part of our R&D team. This role is based remotely as a full-time employee in the UK, Ireland, Estonia, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Israel, or as a contractor in Eastern Europe and Portugal.

Who We Are

DoiT is a global technology company that works with cloud-driven organizations to leverage the cloud to drive business growth and innovation. Delivering DoiT Cloud Intelligence, we help our customers solve complex multicloud problems and drive efficiency across AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.

The Opportunity

Cloud spend is no longer just AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure. Our customers now run a large and growing share of their technology spend through SaaS platforms, data clouds, and AI vendors—and every one of those vendors is an integration that brings another slice of their spend into view.

You'll own DoiT's Integrations Framework and the experience built on top of it. You'll define what a great integration experience looks like: seamless connectivity, actionable diagnostics, and automated syncs. On the framework side, you'll make adding new vendors streamlined and standardized.

You'll work AI-augmented from day one, leveraging agentic AI tooling across your entire engineering workflow to accelerate spec-driven integration development against evolving third-party APIs.

Responsibilities

  • Building new integrations: Design and ship integrations against third-party billing and usage APIs (authentication, incremental sync, rate limits, error handling, schema drift) and invest in the Integrations Framework itself.
  • Working AI-augmented: Use AI daily across your full workflow—exploring unfamiliar codebases, prototyping, generating and reviewing code, debugging, writing tests, and producing documentation.
  • Integration management experience: Build user interfaces for connecting, configuring, and trusting integrations (health/status visibility, key rotation, actionable error states).
  • Self-service by default: Design self-service backfills, reconnects, and diagnostics into the framework.
  • API-first: Build capabilities fully available through APIs so both humans and agents can drive the platform.
  • Implementing features end-to-end: Propose and execute features from proposal through specification, implementation, and long-term maintenance.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping and owning features in production
  • Strong TypeScript, including modern frontend experience (React preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with Go, or strong backend experience in another language (Python, Java, Node.js, C#) with enthusiasm for ramping up quickly in Go
  • Demonstrated experience designing and consuming REST APIs and handling complex third-party API integration mechanics (auth flows, pagination, rate limits, schema drift)
  • Full-stack capability—comfortable working from the database level up to the user interface
  • Working proficiency in SQL
  • Experience developing solutions with cloud services (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
  • An operational mindset focused on clear user diagnostics and error handling
  • AI-augmented working style: Practical experience using AI tools across software engineering tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Bonus Points

  • Experience building integration platforms or extensibility frameworks
  • Experience with cloud or SaaS billing data (AWS/GCP/Azure cost exports, FOCUS specification, AI vendor billing)
  • Experience with Google BigQuery, data pipelines, or orchestration tooling (Dagster, Airflow)
  • Experience building AI-powered product features (LLM integrations, automation)
  • Exposure to FinOps practices or cloud financial management products
