Location & Work Setup

This role is based remotely in EMEA. We hire full-time employees in the UK, Ireland, Estonia, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Israel, and contractors in Eastern Europe and Portugal.

The Opportunity

AI is the fastest-growing line on our customers' cloud bills — and the hardest one to see. Model APIs, managed inference, GPUs, and a growing fleet of agentic coding tools each report spend differently, and most teams still can't answer basic questions: what are we spending, on which workloads, for which teams, and is it worth it. Our AI cost visibility product, part of DoiT Cloud Intelligence, exists to answer them.

We're hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer into our R&D team to own this product end-to-end — from the Go services that ingest and model AI spend, through the APIs that expose it, to the React interfaces where FinOps practitioners and platform engineers make decisions. This is a young product in a category being defined right now. You'll shape how it works and work AI-augmented from day one.

Responsibilities

• Owning features end-to-end: Take a problem from understanding customer pain through design, implementation, release, monitoring, and iteration. Define what done looks like and own the overall outcome.
• Knowing the product and domain: Understand how AI spend works (token and model pricing, inference and GPU economics) and how FinOps practitioners reason about it.
• Working AI-augmented: Use AI daily across your full engineering workflow (exploring codebases, prototyping, code generation, reviews, debugging, writing tests, and documentation).
• Full-stack delivery: Design, build, and scale backend services in Go and product experiences in TypeScript and React. Turn large volumes of cost and usage data into clear, fast, and trustworthy interfaces.
• API-first development: Build capabilities fully available through APIs so both humans and AI agents can drive the platform.
• Raising the bar: Set engineering standards through thoughtful design reviews, operational guardrails, and peer mentoring.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with multi-tenant SaaS products, owning features or products end-to-end in production
• Strong Go expertise for backend services, APIs, data processing, and operational realities
• Strong TypeScript and modern React skills with a solid eye for data visualization
• Comfortable across the stack from data models to user interfaces
• Experience building on public cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred, or AWS/Azure) and working proficiency with SQL against an analytical store (e.g., BigQuery)
• Product-oriented mindset and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-moving market
• Active AI-augmented workflow experience with concrete examples of tools used
• Strong knowledge of software engineering practices, design patterns, and architectural principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
• Portfolio demonstrating previous production software systems built
