DoiT is a global technology company working with cloud-driven organizations to scale and optimize their cloud environments. SELECT by DoiT, acquired by DoiT in January 2026, operates as a lean, sub-20 person standalone team building a cutting-edge cloud data cost management product used by over 200 customers.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will architect and develop new features for SELECT, collaborating closely with founders and engineers to shape the product roadmap and software design.

Responsibilities

• Create new cost management features such as forecasts, anomaly alerts, and cost allocations.
• Develop reusable and robust UI components to make cost exploration seamless.
• Build new data visualization capabilities to communicate performance, query timing, and efficiency.
• Build data pipelines and dbt models to surface new insights and opportunities to users.
• Improve the reliability and performance of the application.
• Take end-to-end ownership for features from initial design and planning to implementation, testing, and delivery.

Qualifications

• Experienced engineer with a strong backend and data engineering skillset.
• Solid understanding of Python, system design, and related modern data stack tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Self-organized, goal-oriented, and self-motivated with a high standard for collaboration and documentation.

Bonus Points

• Experience with FinOps, cloud infrastructure cost management, data warehouse management, and observability.
• Experience working in an early-stage startup environment.
• Familiarity with FastAPI, Postgres, dbt, Dagster, and Snowflake.
