The Opportunity

As a Solutions Engineer supporting DoiT Cloud Intelligence in Thailand, you will be the hands-on technical face of DoiT in the local market. Partnering with Account Executives, Customer Success, and the AWS field team, you will help Thai enterprises, digital natives, MSPs, and Systems Integrators unlock actionable insights across their AWS and multi-cloud environments.

This is a growth-oriented Field Engineering role chartered to drive DCI adoption through high-impact technical sales plays, revenue growth, partner-led pipeline, new logo acquisition, and upsell/cross-sell motions. You will sit at the intersection of customers, cloud platforms, and our product team.

Responsibilities

• Technical Qualification & Discovery: Partner with Account Executives to conduct in-depth discovery sessions across engineering, finance, and platform teams, assessing FinOps maturity, cloud architecture, and cost management goals.
• Technical Validation & POV Leadership: Own and drive technical validation and Proof of Value (POV) exercises for DoiT Cloud Intelligence, demonstrating clear value alignment.
• Platform Demonstrations: Deliver compelling, tailored demonstrations of DCI in both Thai and English.
• Business Case & ROI Development: Build financial and operational business cases articulating the ROI of adopting DCI for engineering and executive audiences.
• AWS Partner-Led Growth: Co-sell with AWS field teams and local partners on partner-sourced pipeline and accelerator programs (GenAI, MAP, WAFR).
• Hands-On Cloud Engineering: Lead structured technical engagements including optimization sessions, architecture deep dives, security reviews, and migration assessments.
• DCI Expertise: Serve as the regional DCI expert—building custom analytics, cost allocation views, Composer queries, and CloudFlow automations embedded into CI/CD workflows.
• Partner & Portfolio Support: Support MSP, PE, and SI technical engagements demonstrating multi-cloud portfolio visibility.
• Reusable Assets & Content: Translate field work into Terraform modules, playbooks, webinars, architecture diagrams, and workshops in Thai.
• Product Advocacy: Translate local customer pain points and partner feature requests into structured input for global Product and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• Language Fluency: Native-level Thai fluency (spoken and written) with professional working proficiency in English.
• Cloud Architecture: 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and operating production workloads on AWS (GCP or Azure is a strong plus), spanning compute, storage, networking, IAM, and observability.
• Customer-Facing Experience: Background in Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Pre-Sales, or Field Engineering serving enterprise or mid-market accounts.
• Technical Depth: Expertise in cloud infrastructure, data & analytics, or ML/GenAI.
• FinOps & Economics: Practical judgment in cost vs. performance vs. reliability tradeoffs for both engineers and business stakeholders.
• Observability & Automation: Practical experience with observability tools (Datadog, New Relic, CloudWatch) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CI/CD, scripting).
• Data Analysis: Strong ability to navigate large datasets to identify trends, outliers, and cost correlations.
• Communication: Exceptional presentation skills with experience presenting to executive-level buyers.

Bonus Points

• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect Professional, Advanced Networking, Machine Learning) or FinOps Certified Practitioner.
• Experience with AWS partner programs (MAP, WAFR, GenAI accelerators) or within an AWS Partner / MSP / SI.
• Experience in SRE, platform engineering, or dedicated cloud cost management tooling.
• Datacenter migration experience (e.g., VMware to cloud).
