The Role

We are looking for a Trust & Safety Product Manager to own the product and technical delivery of our compliance and safety initiatives across our platforms. You will turn safety requirements into effective product features, moderation capabilities, third-party integrations, and measurable improvements.

Working closely with Compliance, Engineering, AI/ML, Product, and Customer Support, you will help us identify risks earlier, build safeguards into new features, and continuously improve how our safety systems perform. This newly created role works directly with our CTO, Michael Monin, and our Legal & Safety Lead, Maxwelle Sokol.

Key Responsibilities

• Safety & Legal Product Strategy: Translate safety policies, legal requirements (such as the EU AI Act), incident findings, and user feedback into clear product requirements, acceptance criteria, and engineering work.
• Moderation Technologies: Own product improvements for in-house moderation systems, including our proprietary LLM technology EverGuard, partnering with Engineering and AI/ML on detection capabilities and moderation thresholds.
• Third-party Safety Partnerships: Lead the technical and product lifecycle of safety partnerships, from evaluating providers to implementation and ongoing performance management.
• Dashboards & Quality Assurance: Establish dashboards and recurring QA processes to proactively identify emerging issues and ensure T&S measures work as intended.
• Red Teaming & Adversarial Testing: Own testing for how moderation systems and product safeguards respond to deliberate misuse and edge cases.
• Trust & Safety Reviews: Run dedicated T&S reviews for new and existing features, engaging early in product design to identify foreseeable misuse and appropriate safeguards.
• Incident Follow-through: Coordinate product and engineering responses to significant safety issues.

Qualifications

• Data-driven decision maker who aligns product metrics with legal and ethical standards.
• Experience with content moderation, AI guardrails, and scalable safety automation.
• Background in trust and safety, compliance, or consumer-facing platform governance.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills in English.
• AI fluency and comfort experimenting with new tools.
• Comfortable working with uncensored models and adult content categories.
