Position Summary

We’re looking for a Senior People Partner to support our Product & Technology, Marketing, and Finance teams. This role blends trusted relationship-building, strategic thought partnership, and hands-on execution. You’ll help leaders design healthy, high-performing teams, align people strategy to business goals, and make thoughtful people decisions that serve both employees and the business.

You are growth-oriented, seek feedback, and model curiosity, accountability, and resilience. You take care of people in a very real way while maintaining a high bar for performance, clarity, and business outcomes, using technology and data as core tools to support better decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic People Partnership: Serve as the primary People Partner to leaders across Product & Technology, Marketing, and Finance, connecting organizational goals to actionable people plans.
  • Org Design & Change Management: Advise on organizational design, headcount planning, team structure, and change management.
  • Proactive Insights: Anticipate and surface themes, risks, and opportunities early, proposing options to help leaders make thoughtful people-centered decisions.
  • Coaching & Relations: Build trusted relationships with managers and employees across levels; coach through complex situations such as role changes, behavior issues, and team dynamics.
  • Conflict Resolution: Navigate conflict and tension constructively to preserve trust and keep work moving forward.
  • People Cycles: Lead client groups through core People cycles (performance, calibration, compensation, engagement, and recognition) with clear timelines and expectations.
  • Program Delivery: Translate company-wide initiatives into simple, practical guidance for teams and leaders.
  • Process Improvement: Identify process friction and partner with cross-functional teams to improve, simplify, or automate HR workflows.
  • Performance & Development: Guide managers on setting clear expectations, delivering effective feedback, and addressing performance issues fairly and promptly.
  • Talent & Succession: Help identify and develop top talent and potential successors for critical roles.
  • Data & Technology: Leverage people metrics to highlight trends, and utilize modern HR and AI tools to drive personal efficiency and improve access to information.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in HR/People Partner or HR Business Partner roles.
  • Experience supporting technical teams (e.g., Product, Engineering, or IT) strongly preferred; exposure to Marketing and/or Finance teams is a plus.
  • Experience working in Tech or SaaS preferred; experience in EdTech is a plus.
  • Proven experience working on a fully remote or highly distributed team, with comfort operating independently and collaborating asynchronously.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence across functions and levels without relying on formal authority.
