About Fundraise Up
Fundraise Up is a global fundraising platform built to make donating to nonprofits fast, seamless, and accessible to all. Every month, our technology powers tens of millions of dollars in donations across the globe. Many of the world's leading nonprofits trust our platform, including UNICEF, the Alzheimer's Association, and a wide range of global NGOs, holding a 4.9/5 rating across top software review platforms. We serve enterprise nonprofits across North America, the UK, Australia, and Europe with a distributed team of 160+ product professionals. Our mission is to unlock the world's generosity potential by optimizing how people give.
About the Role
A charity walk only works when every participant becomes a fundraiser. You'll build the product that makes that happen.
Peer-to-Peer is a new Fundraise Up product line that turns supporters into fundraisers. It has two connected directions: P2P DIY covers self-serve campaigns such as birthdays, memorials, and personal challenges, while P2P Events covers structured, time-bound programs such as walks, runs, rides, climbs, workplace challenges, and recurring series.
You'll own P2P Events. That means extending the DIY foundation with registration, teams and captains, event operations, participant communication, attribution, reporting, and integrations. You'll work closely with the PM for the broader P2P area so both directions evolve as one coherent product. This is a hands-on software product role running from discovery to launch and iteration, not an event-planning or project-coordination role.
Key Responsibilities
- Set the product thesis: Turn customer research, market evidence, and business context into a sequenced roadmap. Focus on a defined target segment and event scenario instead of serving the whole category at once.
- Make explicit platform decisions: Decide which capabilities belong in the shared P2P foundation and which require an Events-specific model. Keep assumptions, success metrics, scope, risks, and decisions transparent.
- Lead discovery at the source: Work directly with nonprofit event teams, participants, design partners, and internal GTM teams. Validate through interviews, workflow mapping, prototypes, and live usage.
- Separate signal from noise: Tell real adoption blockers apart from feature requests and expectations set by incumbent products. Shape problems including registration, teams and captains, attribution, event operations, participant communication, and CRM integrations.
- Own delivery end to end: Write clear requirements, acceptance criteria, edge cases, and decision records. Manage trade-offs with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Research, and QA, surfacing risks and dependencies early.
- Build for what comes next without overbuilding now: Design the first release so it can scale from simple events to advanced team structures, event series, and operational workflows.
- Launch through early access programmes (EAPs): Establish entry criteria, success measures, readiness requirements, and out-of-scope areas. Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, CSM, and Support on positioning, enablement, and competitive context.
- Drive outcomes, not output: Track event success, participant activation, fundraising velocity, and retention. Connect evidence to adoption, expansion, pipeline, and GPV to inform strategic direction.
- Work AI-native: Use AI actively in day-to-day work for research synthesis, prototyping, specification drafting, data exploration, and automation, without relinquishing product judgment.
