About the Role
As Senior Director, Revenue Analytics, you will lead a high-performing team of analytics professionals and own the strategic vision for sales and customer experience data across GitLab. You will serve as a key business partner to executive leadership, using data to shape go-to-market strategy, customer experience, and revenue growth.
What You’ll Do
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop the Revenue Analytics team, setting standards and building scalable capabilities.
- AI Integration: Support AI self-serve initiatives and lead the team in building insights via AI tooling alongside legacy BI solutions.
- Strategic Roadmap: Own the analytics roadmap across sales, customer success, and professional services to improve productivity, retention, and revenue performance.
- Predictive Modeling: Develop forecasting, pipeline, and capacity models to improve accuracy, velocity, and resource allocation.
- Customer Lifecycle: Build analytics for onboarding, product adoption, churn risk, NRR, and GRR.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Enterprise Data to turn business questions into actionable recommendations.
- Data Governance: Establish frameworks that improve data quality for executive and board-level reporting.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience leading analytics teams in SaaS, sales, or revenue operations environments.
- Deep knowledge of B2B SaaS business models, consumption-based metrics, and revenue lifecycles.
- Ability to translate complex data into strategic roadmaps and influence executive-level decisions.
- Advanced proficiency with AI tools (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini), BI tools (Tableau, Hex, Omni), and SQL.
- Experience with customer success analytics (health scoring, churn prediction) and services-led growth metrics.
