The Role

As a Senior Professional Services Project Manager, you will manage complex projects from initiation through delivery and closure. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams and global customers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, utilizing your expertise in IT and software consulting.

What You’ll Do

• Project Delivery: Manage large-scale commercial projects, including delivery schedules, scope, resources, risks, and issues.
• Stakeholder Management: Lead executive stakeholder meetings, manage communications, and handle customer escalations in coordination with Sales and Technical Account Managers.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Support, Engineering, and Product teams to resolve complex customer challenges using GitLab technologies.
• Process Improvement: Drive enhancements to Professional Services tools, templates, and operational procedures to establish repeatable delivery models.
• Reporting: Summarize key customer projects monthly and provide insights for quarterly business reviews.
• Revenue Management: Support timely revenue recognition and execute change orders as required.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience managing complex IT or software consulting projects for external customers.
• Strong ability to manage project scope, schedules, and multiple priorities while providing concise executive-level reporting.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to mediate conflicts and motivate advisory teams.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (PMI, Agile, Scrum) and software development lifecycles.
• Experience with enterprise customers and professional services delivery is a plus.
