The Opportunity
We are looking for an Incentive Compensation (IC) Systems Manager to drive the systemization, automation, and continuous improvement of our commission operations. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, Incentive Compensation. You will replace manual workarounds with scalable systems to bring predictability, accuracy, and speed to our commission, quota, and plan administration.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Process & Gap Assessment: Map current-state workflows across plan administration, calculation, and payouts to identify and prioritize manual, error-prone steps.
- Systematization & Automation: Design and build automated workflows and integrations to replace manual data pulls, reconciliations, and exception handling.
- Xactly ICM Ownership: Serve as the hands-on owner of Xactly (Incent and Connect), configuring calculation rules, plan logic, and workflows.
- AI-Enabled Process Automation: Identify opportunities for LLM-driven agents to automate exception detection, data reconciliation, and plan document review.
- Systems Integration: Partner with Finance, People Ops, and RevOps to ensure seamless data flow between CRM (Salesforce), HRIS, and data warehouses (BigQuery).
- Documentation & Governance: Establish SOPs and controls to ensure processes remain auditable and maintainable.
- Cross-Functional Enablement: Translate IC process needs into system requirements and provide practical recommendations to stakeholders.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Professional Experience: 5+ years in incentive compensation, sales operations, or revenue operations, preferably in a high-growth SaaS environment.
- Process Improvement Mindset: Proven track record of building solutions for broken or inefficient processes.
- SQL & Data Fluency: Hands-on experience querying and reconciling data across complex systems.
- Automation & Tooling: Experience with ICM platforms (Xactly, CaptivateIQ, Varicent, or SPIFF) and building automated workflows.
- Systems Fluency: Deep understanding of the tech stack including Salesforce, HRIS, and data warehouses.
- Analytical Rigor: Strong grasp of comp mechanics (quotas, accelerators, SPIFFs, payout timing).
