The Opportunity

The Grafana IRM (Incident Response Management) squad operates a business-critical set of services that help Grafana and multiple organizations across the globe respond to incidents. Our mission is to make it easy to detect, respond, and learn from incidents with minimal toil.

This is a full-time remote role for candidates based in the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Spain, and Germany.

What You'll Be Doing

• Influence & Deliver: Take an active role in influencing our roadmap and your own career objectives. Work with your team to deliver new features, then use the results to iterate and improve.
• End-to-End Ownership: Drive projects from initial ideation all the way to operations once it is in the hands of customers.
• Mobile Development: Design, build, operate, and maintain Grafana’s mobile Application, owning its reliability, performance, and availability.
• Open Source Contribution: Embrace our open-source culture and contribute to other projects that may not directly fall within your team’s scope.
• On-Call Support: Be a part of your team’s on-call rotations and take ownership of the application you’re running.
• Mentorship: Mentor and support other team members, participate in design discussions, and collaborate with the team.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Experience with at least one native mobile platform (Android or iOS).
• Strong experience building production Flutter apps, including state management, navigation, asynchronous programming, and architecting maintainable codebases.
• Experience taking mobile features from idea to release in a self-driven way (requirements, testing, CI/CD workflows, App Store/Google Play deployment).
• Comfort integrating mobile apps with backend APIs and cloud services.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and performant code.

Bonus Points

• Experience using Grafana and Prometheus in operational roles (including on-call or hobby/homelab projects).
• Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with SRE tasks, being on-call, or infrastructure as code.
• Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source projects.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: €94,000 - €117,000 (Spain-specific range; other eligible countries will be aligned with local market rates).
• Equity & Bonus: Equity and performance bonuses are included.
• Paid Time Off: 30 days of annual leave per year (including 3 reserved Grafana Shutdown Days).
